Since then, we have designed and manufactured many hundreds of high quality timber products for our many customers based all over the UK. We are a small and yet perfectly formed company offering the very highest quality buildings from our factory near Spalding in Lincolnshire. About Kevin Berry ( Sales Director) I have a trained background in the timber trade, having worked for the very largest UK timber companies for a great many years in fact some 23 years in total. I qualified as an Associate member of the Institute of Wood Science (AIWSC) during my early years in the trade. I have a vast knowledge of timber importation, the best supply lines, the best qualities and great knowledge of all timber products purchased in the UK today. Over the years I have been responsible for purchasing vast volumes of timber with values running into the many millions of pounds. I have worked for the UK's largest timber importing & distribution group (12 years), worldwide timber importing agents (3 years), and most recently the largest independent manufacturer of timber garden buildings (8years). I have been responsible for managing the supply of timber buildings to the largest DIY chains in the UK Why leave such roles then? Over the years, I have always had a dream of running my own business instead of running businesses for others. I have an in depth knowledge of efficiently running a large business, all aspects of the timber trade and also timber products. I have always known that there was a market for the products that we produce and certainly a market for a supplier that listens to their customers requirements, acts professionally at all times, keeps to all promises, consistently builds very high quality products and offers great value money. My procurement skills and contacts gained over many years in the timber trade, allow me to buy the best quality components at the very best levels. In turn we can pass these savings and high qualities on to our customers. About Phil Harvey ( Production Director) I have been involved in the timber trade for a great many years having worked for the largest independent supplier of garden buildings in the UK. My experiences have included working high speed computerised wood working machinery in the manufacture of all things timber such as sheds, summer houses, children's playhouses, decking systems , kennels , workshops etc. For many years, I have been making high quality bespoke products in the local area. Such was the success of my products that it came to be, that along with Kevin we started our business, to try and keep up with demand for my woodworking skills and our range of high quality products. My role at Hutch 'n' Such is to control each and every stage of the design, build & installation of our products.
